Veteran RaiseRight band families accumulate $300-$1,000 each year just by using the RaiseRight app to buy an e-gift card from a business in the total amount just before checking out. They simply use the e-gift card to pay and as a thank you for buying a gift card, the company sends a rebate directly to the family’s Walton Band account. These rebates accumulate and can be used to pay most band fees. No selling involved. It’s that simple, which is why we all love it.

Q: How does the rebate work?

Raise Right is a program that partners with stores, restaurants and other businesses to sell their gift cards at a rebated price in place of traditional fundraisers. The companies benefit through increased customer traffic. The customers/non-profit organizations benefit by receiving a rebate, or a partial refund, toward a specific program (Walton Band).

The customer buys the e-gift cards at face value and the rebate percentage is sent to the band program and deposited directly into your family’s band account. You receive 100% value of the gift cards you purchase (A $100 Gap gift card allows you to spend $100 at the Gap, and you also earn a 14% rebate, or $14.00, almost all of which is added to your student’s band account to be used when paying for most band fees.)

Q: Why do I receive 90% of my rebate?

RaiseRight is a program that Walton Band pays to use each year. To offset the cost of running the program, 90% of your rebate goes directly to your student’s band account and only 10% is retained by the Walton Band to cover administration costs. (For example, if you purchase a $100 Gap card, this card offers a 14% rebate of $14.00. Out of this $14.00, 90%, or $12.60, is deposited directly to your family’s band account. Only 10%, or $1.40, is retained by the Walton Band to cover administration costs.)

Q: How do I pay for the RaiseRight gift cards?

RaiseRight makes purchasing and using gift cards simple with its secure payment system. By linking and using your bank account (with a $0.15 processing fee), you can purchase and use e-gift cards directly from your smart phone using the RaiseRight app. You can also link your credit card (3% processing fee).

Q: How do I get the most out of the RaiseRight program?

Just simply use it daily for purchases such as: gas, groceries, clothing, home improvement stores, and coffee shops. You can even use the gift cards when you buy airline tickets, book vacations and order items online. During the holiday season, we offer physical gift cards you can give as presents. Your rebate is automatically deposited in your student’s account at the beginning of the next month. It’s that simple.

Check out the “RaiseRight Participating Retailers List” online with 750+ companies. Many of the stores in our area participate!

Q: Are all rebates the same?

Rebates are typically 2-14%, but increase up 18% on occasion.

Q: How do I enroll?

Go to www.raiseright.com and click on “Sign Up”. Enter Walton Band’s enrollment code F23714548618 to get started. Please do not post the enrollment code on any social media sites.

Q: Can family and friends enroll to support your band student(s)?

Absolutely. You can share the enrollment code with them. Whatever rebates they earn will be directly deposited into your student's band account. Just remind them to not post the enrollment code on social media
